About

Most consultants bring a framework and look for where your situation fits inside it. Zivana works the other way round; starting with what's actually in front of you and working from there.

That means understanding how work actually gets done, not how it's supposed to. The processes people follow versus the ones that are written down. The knowledge that lives in someone's head and nowhere else. The dependencies no one's mapped because no one's had time.

The questions tend to be the ones that haven't had space. What's actually load-bearing here? What breaks if that person leaves? Where are teams solving the same problem in contradictory ways? What has to be true internally for the ambitions to work? They're not obscure questions. They just need someone to sit with them properly.

Zivana comes from a career spent inside operational complexity, not advising on it from the outside. Building systems and structures from scratch, designing process across departments, setting up governance that people actually follow because it's built into how things work rather than written in a document nobody reads.

The depth is always proportional. Full rigour where the sensitivity and consequence demand it; light touch where they don't. Everything designed within actual constraints: budget, capacity, appetite for risk. Not around them.

Where the work surfaces a need for specialist expertise, that gets flagged. Most organisations bring in specialists too early, before anyone's looked at the whole system; the value of doing that first is that specialists then solve the right problems in the right order.
